2011 Spring Team
For 2011, Sharp Shooters is fielding one 2002 birth year team.
The team will be attending the Bresy Chitown Shuffle in Chicago April 15 - 17, participating in the AAA Elite division. In May, the team will participate in the Carmen Starr Memorial Day Tournament May 27-30 hosted by the Los Angeles Jr. Kings in El Segundo, California.
With 8 returning players from the 2010 Carmen Starr 2002 Division Championship winning team, Sharp Shooters looks to make its first mark in the Midwest by proving to be a formidable challenger to very select teams from Manitoba, Minnesota and a US all-star group called the Bauer Selects. As a Major Novice team, this will be the Sharp Shooters first foray into elite competition outside California. The kids are excited and want to represent the Golden State well.
The Sharp Shooters will be calling Sharks Ice in San Jose its home again this year. We thank everyone at Sharks Ice for their support and encouragement. The team will be practicing together throughout March, April, May, and even June to improve its fundamental skills and team play.
